JStor research & Boston Public Library access

As a Massachusetts public school, we have access to JSTOR research through the Boston Public Library.

Boston Public Library

All Massachusetts residents and employees of Massachusetts companies get free access to the Boston Public Library, which has an extensive collection of eBooks, audiobooks, videos, and other digital resources. 
 
Sign up for your BPL card:
  1. Go to https://www.bpl.org/ 
  2. Click the blue button that reads "Log In/My BPL" and then the green "Log In/Register" button.
  3. On the right-hand side, click the blue "Get an eCard" link
    • Even if you live in RI, you are eligible for an eCard because you work here.
  4. Again, on the right, click "Register or Renew an eCard"
  5. Follow the prompts. Jump through the hoops.

JSTOR Research

JSTOR is an extensive, college-level research database with access to tens of thousands of academic journals, newspapers, etc. 
 
Accessing JSTOR:
  1. Go to https://www.bpl.org/resource/jstor/ and click the "JSTOR" link
  2. Log in using your BPL Card number and PIN (see the box on he left for how to set that up)
  3. Happy researching!
