Math Team competes at WPI

The Diman Math Team was invited to Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s 32nd Annual Math Meet on Tuesday, October 15th.  WPI limited the event to only four students per team, and Adam Bouchard, Makayla Cabeceiras, William Girard, and Owen Morris represented Diman well.

Eighty-three high schools from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire competed and Diman was one of only four vocational-technical high schools in attendance.

Diman is proud of the Math Team for excelling while competing against various public schools and private academies.

Congratulations to Makayla Cabeceiras for earning a $1,000 scholarship to WPI for her performance during the individual competition.
