FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Thanks to months of dedicated practice, the Diman Math Team brought home the Massachusetts Vocational Mathematics League trophy for the first time in the school’s history on Wednesday, April 25th, when they defeated 17 other teams at Tri-County Regional Voc-Tech High School in Franklin, MA.
Diman’s A-Team, captained by Marcus Banoub, took the lead early in the competition and did not relinquish. Captain Warren Levesque’s Team 1 placed firmly in the middle of the pack and has been improving with each competition. Both teams are eager for another win Tuesday May 1st at Greater Lowell Technical High School’s inaugural mathematics meet.
