Congratulations to the following students, who were recognized for their submissions to the 2017 Letters About Literature Writing Contest, sponsored by the United States Library of Congress. Each year, tens of thousands of students from across the United States enter the contest. Open to students in grades 4-12, the contest asks students to read a book, poem, or speech, and write a personal letter to an author. The following students were recognized by The Massachusetts Center for the Book for their submissions:
