Diman is proud to announce that all Health Assisting juniors have completed the Nurse Aide Training Program and have passed the Massachusetts Nurse Aide Certification Exam. The certification exam is composed of both written and hands-on skills tests. The nurse aide training program begins in the freshman year and continues through the junior year.
Training involves a clinical rotation at Clifton Rehabilitative Nursing Center in Somerset, where students are given a resident assignment and apply knowledge and skills learned in shop to the real workplace setting.
Once students are certified, they become eligible to work at local healthcare facilities as CNAs (Certified Nurse Assistants) through Diman’s Cooperative Education Program.
