BOSTON - As a member of the Massachusetts Youth Employment and Safety Team and in partnership with Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health, the AG’s Fair Labor Division announced during an event at the State House the winners of the 2019 MA Safe Jobs for Youth Poster Contest.
Ethan Dollarhide, 16, a student at Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, won third prize in the contest with his poster.
The contest is sponsored by the YES Team and MassCOSH and is open to all Massachusetts teens aged 14 to 19. It invites young people to apply their knowledge about workplace safety and health to create a poster promoting the importance of workplace safety and health for teens. The posters are intended to raise awareness about the importance of workplace safety for young workers and they are shared with communities across the state.
The other winners were Elizabeth Trull, 17, of Rockland, who won first place, and second place went to Oliver Leventhal, 16 of Arlington.
