The Dental Assisting and Health Assisting programs hosted the local Head Start program during February -  Children's Dental Health Month.  The program, called "Give Kids a Smile," is sponsored by the American Dental Association and local dental suppliers by providing free toothbrushes and supplies. The purpose of the program is to promote health (in general) and teach about proper oral health care. Approximately 140 Head Start children participated.
