Congratulations to Corey Cuvellier from Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration as Diman's nominee for the the prestigious Massachusetts Outstanding Vocational Student Award.
Corey is the son of Amy and Matthew Cuvellier from Fall River, MA. He is ranked 2nd out of a class of 350 students. In his freshman year, Corey received the most outstanding freshman student award for his excellence in both shop and academics. He has maintained excellent grades in all of his classes, including four dual enrollment classes he has taken at BCC. He is employed by Triangle Refrigeration as part of the Cooperative Education Program.
Corey also played varsity football and was named captain of the varsity football team.
Corey is a very hard worker with a strong work ethic, whether it’s in shop, academics, or on the football field he always is determined to do his best.
After high school, Corey plans to continue working at Triangle refrigeration to work towards a refrigeration license while also furthering his education at UMass Dartmouth for a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Corey and his parents will be honored for this award during Awards Night at Diman.
