The Girls Outdoor Track Team split their most recent tri-meet. The Girls defeated Tri-County Regional 92-34 and lost narrowly to Bishop Connolly 71-63.
The girls were led again by junior Kim Lajoie who won the 100m and 200m. She also placed first in the triple jump against Tri-County and placed third in the triple jump against Bishop Connolly. Ronnie Lepaega won the shot put in both meets. Serai Benitex won the 400m and paced second in the 100m. Alex Botelho had a pair of thirds in the 100m and 200m. Also, Shakira Joseph won the high jump. Jordan Pacheco (long jump), Talisha Pabon (triple), Bella Soares (800m), Abby Lyne (800M) and Storm Bastille (2 mile, 1 mile) also scored for the Bengals. The girls chance for a victory over Bishop Connolly was thwarted by a hand-off violaton whch nullified their winning 4x100 effort.
