Based on this year’s MCAS Accountability Data assigned by the Massachusetts Department of Education, Diman is the highest-performing high school in Greater Fall River. (9/27/23)

Diman to undergo Tiered Focused Monitoring Review
During the week of December 18, 2023, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Office of Public School Monitoring (PSM) will conduct a Tiered Focused Monitoring Review of Greater Fall River Regional Vocational Technical School. The Office of Public School Monitoring visits each district and charter school every three years to monitor compliance with federal and state special education and civil rights regulations. Areas of review related to special education include student assessments, determination of eligibility, the Individualized Education Program (IEP) Team process, and IEP development and implementation. Areas of review related to civil rights include bullying, student discipline, physical restraint, and equal access to school programs for all students. (9/25/23)

Diman Regional students get off-site hands-on experience in competition, win prizes
n an exciting display of skill, creativity, and craftsmanship, Diman Vocational-Technical High School students brought their fire to the first welding competition hosted by Piping Systems Inc. in Assonet. The event provided students with hands-on welding experience, challenged their problem-solving limits, and rewarded their exceptional talent with prizes. Success at Notch Mechanical Pipe Welding Competition
Our Metal Fabrication and Joining Technologies program is proud of our students' performances at the Notch Mechanical Pipe Welding Competition on 5/17/23. Bradyn Domigues won first place out of 75 competitors, and six of the nine students passed both the visual test and the bend test. (5/18/23)

SkillsUSA States Success
Hard work pays off! At this year's SkillsUSA Massachusetts State Leadership & Skills Conference, 38 Diman students received a medal, while 17 students won gold medals and are heading to compete on the national stage in Atlanta in June. The gold medalists will be joined by three other students that earned spots - one as a state officer and two as voting delegates. (5/1/23)

PHCC All-Star Announced
Congratulations to Ethan Ste. Marie (HVAC) for receiving the All Star award from the Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) at their annual trade show. Ethan's hard work, professionalism and dedication helped him earn this title, which includes a $500 scholarship and a tool bag filled with industry tools donated by Ferguson. (5/2/23)

BPA Conference success
Congratulations to Diman's Business Professionals of America (BPA) team for a successful showing at their first BPA State Leadership Conference last weekend. An amazing 18 of 20 competing students won medals, with 12 receiving an invite to the National Conference in Anaheim, California in April. (3/13/23)

SkillsUSA District results 2023
Diman is happy to announce that our students won 48 medals at the SkillsUSA District 2 Competition, held on 3/2/23 at Diman. Our students earned 20 gold, 21 silver, and 7 bronze medals. All 41 gold and silver medal winners, as well as state officer candidate Emma Shaker, will advance to the Massachusetts State Conference in Marlboro in April. Some bronze medalists might also be invited. (3/6/23)

Liberty Utilities training for HVACR students
The HVACR department would like to thank Liberty Utilities for inviting our grade 10 students to attend the DigSafe MUST Managing Underground Safety Training seminar at White’s of Westport on Wednesday 3/1/23. Our students learned about digging safety and to always call 811 to have DigSafe mark underground utilities safely. It’s the Law! (3/2/23)
