    Molecular Gastronomy Cook-off

    In mid-March, 2024, Diman's Molecular Gastronomy students competed in their final project: an epic cook off! The 15-week Food Science final project showcased culinary prowess and scientific innovation. Students crafted their own menu projects, integrating 3-4 food science techniques they had meticulously honed throughout the class. (3/21/24)

    In Diman Regional Vocational Technical School’s bustling teaching kitchen, a group of culinary students paused to sample a crystal clear liquid from plastic pipettes.     The way Dylan Barcelos, a sophomore at Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, sees it, the learning that goes on in a science classroom and a vocational shop at his school “go hand-in-hand.” “The vocational aspect really helps,” Barcelos said, because it provides “experience working with our hands.” (3/31/16)
