Donation to Advanced Manufacturing shop
Diman is grateful for a generous donation from the Gene HAAS Foundation to students in the Advanced Manufacturing program. The ten students are from the class of 2022 and are working in the Advanced Manufacturing trade. Each student received a tool box and tools worth just over $900.00. (12/12/22)

Diman just won a $2.5 million grant. Here's what they plan to spend it on.
Diman Regional has won a major grant that will bring new equipment to two programs in fast-growing industries. “For Diman to receive this amount of money is special,” said Andrew Rebello, the school’s principal. “This is really gonna expand the ceiling of opportunity for students.” (9/28/22)

Diman thankful for HAAS donations
The Gene HAAS foundation has once again donated money to Diman Seniors from the class of 2020 that are pursuing a college degree in Advanced Manufacturing fields of study. This year $18,000 was awarded to the class of 2020. To date, Haas has given Diman students $44,000 in the past 3 years. (10/14/20)

‘Top notch’ work from Diman students on key piece of city infrastructure
A group of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School students saw the fruits of their labors materialized in a dramatic way on Friday when a project they had worked on for a year -- replacing vital sluice gates that help control the flow of water from the Quequechan River -- became an integral part of the city’s infrastructure for decades to come. Fall River company donates 3-D printer to Diman’s Machine Tool Technology program
AA Precision Machine Co. and the Diman Bengal Education Foundation recently donated a 3-D printer to the Machine Tool Technology program at Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School in memory of Brian David Levesque. Delivering the 3D printer were Arthur Arruda, of Diman’s class of 1956, founder of AA Precision Machine, and company owners William Bosse, class of 1990, and Jeffrey Arruda, class of 1992. (1/26/18)

Diman gets $500,000 to support emerging technologies
he world of work is getting smaller, much smaller, Thomas Aubin said. Workers in 10 or 15 years will have to be adept at the needs of nanotechnology, making the machines and tools to operate robots that will require a microscope to see. They will have to make objects with such precision that one ten thousands of an inch is sloppy. (10/18/17)

Diman thanks Lowe’s for shop improvement
Lowe’s beheld the results of their financial support on Tuesday, March 22, when the new Engineering/Technology Center was unveiled during a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Diman’s Machine Tool Technologies shop. The new center was funded by a $25,000 grant from Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation that was administered by SkillsUSA. (3/23/16)
