    The Gene Haas Foundation awarded the Advanced Manufacturing program a $20,000 grant. The grant awards graduating seniors studying mechanical engineering with a $2,500 scholarship. (5/16/24)

    SkillsUSA State Success 2024

    At the 2024 SkillsUSA Massachusetts State Leadership & Skills Conference, 49 Diman students received a medal, while 26 students won gold medals and are heading to compete on the national stage in Atlanta in June. The contest was held in Marlboro on April 25-27. (4/30/24)

    We're excited to share that US News and World Report named Diman one of the best high schools in the nation for the third time in school history and the third time in four years.   • Diman students grant girl’s wish by building beauty salon playhouse

    On Friday, Diman students made a little girl’s wish a reality at the Rhode Island Home Show at the Rhode Island Convention Center. According to the school, it took more than 6 months and hundreds of Diman students from multiple Diman shops to develop a playhouse for Lanasia and to grant her wish. (4/8/24)

    Diman students, hiking group connect to improve Fall River's Bioreserve

    On Blossom Road, in a 19th-century timber-frame wagon shed, a half-dozen kids from Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School were busy building bridges connecting Fall River’s past to its future.  The carpentry students under instructor Jeff Cabral were building the frames for bog bridges — lengths of pressure-treated lumber that will be topped with planks and installed in the Southeastern Massachusetts Bioreserve to help hikers cross muddy trails.  (4/2/24)

    Diman Principal Andrew Rebello has been awarded the Massachusetts School Administrators’ Association High School Principal of the Year. Rebello is an award-winning and nationally recognized educational leader, serving in his fourth year as the Assistant Superintendent-Principal at Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School.     Molecular Gastronomy Cook-off

    In mid-March, 2024, Diman's Molecular Gastronomy students competed in their final project: an epic cook off! The 15-week Food Science final project showcased culinary prowess and scientific innovation. Students crafted their own menu projects, integrating 3-4 food science techniques they had meticulously honed throughout the class. (3/21/24)

    SkillsUSA season begins with a bang

    Diman fielded our largest-ever group of students for the SkillsUSA District competition on 2/29/24, with 138 students participating. Of those, the school earned a whopping 84 medals, with 67 students qualifying for the state competition. (3/6/24)

  • Diman and HealthFirst have partnered up. Students can get free health care: here's how

    Starting in early March, the more than 1,400 students at Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School will have free access to doctors right in their building.  HealthFirst Family Care Center announced it is partnering with Diman to open the area’s first school-based health center. Diman Assistant Superintendent and Principal Andrew Rebello said that means students can see a doctor with no co-pay. (2/23/24)
