  • Automotive Technology Program thankful for DBEF donation

    Diman's Automotive Technology Program is thankful to the Diman Bengal Education Foundation for a generous $10,000 donation to the program. The money will go towards the purchase of individual hand tools for each of the shop's repair locations. (11/17/23)

    Soon, the new Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School will start to take shape. The project reached a big milestone on Friday with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.

    Diman is pleased to announce that our Room 251 Restaurant was awarded first place in table presentation at the 2023 New Bedford Seafood Chowderfest.   • Diman to undergo Tiered Focused Monitoring Review

    During the week of December 18, 2023, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Office of Public School Monitoring (PSM) will conduct a Tiered Focused Monitoring Review of Greater Fall River Regional Vocational Technical School. The Office of Public School Monitoring visits each district and charter school every three years to monitor compliance with federal and state special education and civil rights regulations. Areas of review related to special education include student assessments, determination of eligibility, the Individualized Education Program (IEP) Team process, and IEP development and implementation. Areas of review related to civil rights include bullying, student discipline, physical restraint, and equal access to school programs for all students.  (9/25/23)

    Diman Regional students get off-site hands-on experience in competition, win prizes

    n an exciting display of skill, creativity, and craftsmanship, Diman Vocational-Technical High School students brought their fire to the first welding competition hosted by Piping Systems Inc. in Assonet. The event provided students with hands-on welding experience, challenged their problem-solving limits, and rewarded their exceptional talent with prizes.     SkillsUSA Nationals 2023 Results

    Diman is thrilled to announce that our students earned four gold medals at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference held June 19-23, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia.  23 students and 16 advisors attended the conference, along with over 16,000 other attendees, including more than 6,000 state champions. A whopping 75% of the Diman student delegation placed within the top 10 students in the country. Diman is very proud of our students and thankful to the students' advisors for the preparation and success. (6/27/23)

    Hard work pays off! At this year's SkillsUSA Massachusetts State Leadership & Skills Conference, 38 Diman students received a medal, while 17 students won gold medals and are heading to compete on the national stage in Atlanta in June.
