Success at Notch Mechanical Pipe Welding Competition
Our Metal Fabrication and Joining Technologies program is proud of our students' performances at the Notch Mechanical Pipe Welding Competition on 5/17/23. Bradyn Domigues won first place out of 75 competitors, and six of the nine students passed both the visual test and the bend test. (5/18/23)

SkillsUSA States Success
Hard work pays off! At this year's SkillsUSA Massachusetts State Leadership & Skills Conference, 38 Diman students received a medal, while 17 students won gold medals and are heading to compete on the national stage in Atlanta in June. The gold medalists will be joined by three other students that earned spots - one as a state officer and two as voting delegates. (5/1/23)

PHCC All-Star Announced
Congratulations to Ethan Ste. Marie (HVAC) for receiving the All Star award from the Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) at their annual trade show. Ethan's hard work, professionalism and dedication helped him earn this title, which includes a $500 scholarship and a tool bag filled with industry tools donated by Ferguson. (5/2/23)

BPA Conference success
Congratulations to Diman's Business Professionals of America (BPA) team for a successful showing at their first BPA State Leadership Conference last weekend. SkillsUSA District results 2023
Diman is happy to announce that our students won 48 medals at the SkillsUSA District 2 Competition, held on 3/2/23 at Diman. Our students earned 20 gold, 21 silver, and 7 bronze medals. All 41 gold and silver medal winners, as well as state officer candidate Emma Shaker, will advance to the Massachusetts State Conference in Marlboro in April. Some bronze medalists might also be invited. (3/6/23)

Liberty Utilities training for HVACR students
The HVACR department would like to thank Liberty Utilities for inviting our grade 10 students to attend the DigSafe MUST Managing Underground Safety Training seminar at White’s of Westport on Wednesday 3/1/23. HVACR thanks ENE Systems
The HVACR department would like to thank Mike Papetti from ENE Systems, Inc. for speaking to all of our students about career opportunities in the controls field! ENE Systems, Inc. is the largest independent HVAC Controls contractor in New England, and Papetti was able to share information about facilities management, tips to enter the industry and demonstrations of live viewing of real life control systems. Dental students at 2023 Yankee Dental Conference
Students and instructors from Diman's Dental Assisting program attended Yankee Dental Convention in Boston on Jan 26, 2023. In total, 36 students and four instructors explored over 100 exhibitor booths to speak to dental professionals and learn about new products and technologies in the dental field.

Donation to Advanced Manufacturing shop
Diman is grateful for a generous donation from the Gene HAAS Foundation to students in the Advanced Manufacturing program. The ten students are from the class of 2022 and are working in the Advanced Manufacturing trade. Each student received a tool box and tools worth just over $900.00. (12/12/22)

Adams Scholarship Winners for 2022
Diman is pleased to announce that 83 students have earned the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship in 2022. Recipients of the state-run scholarship program are entitled to 8 semesters of tuition-free education at any Massachusetts state college or university. Students earn the scholarship by scoring in the Advanced and Proficient levels on the grade 10 MCAS exam and scoring in the top 25 percent of that year’s test takers. (11/18/22)

Automotive technology program earns ASE certification
Diman’s automotive technology program has been certified by the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation. To achieve this recognition, Diman’s program underwent extensive evaluation by ASE using nationally-accepted standards of instruction, facilities, and equipment. (9/29/22)

Diman Regional has won a major grant that will bring new equipment to two programs in fast-growing industries. “For Diman to receive this amount of money is special,” said Andrew Rebello, the school’s principal. “This is really gonna expand the ceiling of opportunity for students.” (9/28/22)
