SKILLSUSA 2022-2023
SkillsUSA Massachusetts is a state association of SkillsUSA, a national organization serving more than 300,000 high school and college students and professional members who are enrolled in training programs in technical, skilled, and service occupations, including health occupations.
SkillsUSA prepares America's high-performance workers. It provides quality educational experiences for students in leadership, teamwork, citizenship and character development. It builds and reinforces self-confidence, work attitudes and communication skills. It emphasizes total quality at work, high ethical standards, superior work skills, life-long education and pride in the dignity of work. SkillsUSA also promotes understanding of the free enterprise system and involvement in community service activities.

Officers Appointed
Being an officer in a SkillsUSA chapter is an honor that carries specific responsibilities. SkillsUSA officers must be concerned about the organization's purposes and its successful and efficient functioning.They must prepare themselves for these responsibilities by:
- Studying and practicing to become more skillful in their duties
- Developing a complete knowledge of SkillsUSA's constitutions and bylaws
- Approaching issues objectively to make decisions for the good of all members
- Carrying out duties thoroughly, on time and to the best of their abilities
- Working cooperatively to make their leadership strong and effective and to ensure the chapter's success
Officers should remember that they were selected to lead their chapter for one year. In accepting their offices, they assume the responsibility of doing everything they can to make the Diman chapter better and stronger.

SkillsUSA States Success
Hard work pays off! At this year's SkillsUSA Massachusetts State Leadership & Skills Conference, 38 Diman students received a medal, while 17 students won gold medals and are heading to compete on the national stage in Atlanta in June. The gold medalists will be joined by three other students that earned spots - one as a state officer and two as voting delegates. (5/1/23)

SkillsUSA District results 2023
Diman is happy to announce that our students won 48 medals at the SkillsUSA District 2 Competition, held on 3/2/23 at Diman. Our students earned 20 gold, 21 silver, and 7 bronze medals. All 41 gold and silver medal winners, as well as state officer candidate Emma Shaker, will advance to the Massachusetts State Conference in Marlboro in April. Some bronze medalists might also be invited. (3/6/23)

SkillsUSA States Results 2022
This year, 18 Diman students earned a spot on the SkillsUSA Massachusetts state team, with 17 gold medals and one elected state officer. Diman also won five silver and two bronze medals. The students will attend the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, GA on June 20-24. (5/30/22)

SkillsUSA Regionals Results
Diman is happy to announce that our students won 39 medals at the SkillsUSA District 2 Competition, held on 3/2/22 at Diman. Our students earned 23 gold, 9 silver, and 7 bronze medals. All 32 gold and silver medal winners will advance to the Massachusetts State Conference in Marlboro in April. Some bronze medalists might also be invited. (3/14/22)

Diman to send 14 students to SkillsUSA Nationals
Diman is thrilled to announce that we will provide 14 students to the Massachusetts team at the SkillsUSA National Conference. Students competed via Zoom or in-person at Blackstone Valley Tech on April 30th. The national competition will be held virtually in June. (5/7/21)
