My name is Fernando da Silva and I teach Portuguese and Spanish here at Diman. I have degrees from Assumption College, Bridgewater State College, and Harvard University. I was born in the Azores on the island of Faial and emigrated with my family from Portugal to the United States in 1969. I have been teaching for 15 years and worked in finance for 20 years before that. I live in Bridgewater, Mass with my wife. I have been at Diman for 8 years and enjoy teaching Portuguese, Spanish, History of Science.
