Welcome!

I am pleased to be HVACR Department Head and instructor here at Diman! After having taught for six years in Rhode Island and gaining over 22 years of industry experience, I am now in my eighth year of being part of the Diman community.

I graduated from LaSalle Academy in Providence and earned my bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.  I have also completed many additional courses at the Community College of Rhode Island, Rhode Island College and now Fitchburg State while obtaining and maintaining vocational licensure in two states.  I am enrolled and working towards my Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Management.  I currently own and operate a small HVACR business in Rhode Island with emphasis on social responsibility, to help lower fossil fuel dependency with hopes of increasing reliance on renewable energies.          

For trade related accomplishments I possess; Rhode Island Contractor Master Pipe Fitter/Refrigeration Master 1 License, Massachusetts Refrigeration Contractor License, EPA 608 Universal, Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst Professional Certification (lapsed), Rhode Island Dept. of Health Lead Safe Renovator/Remodeler Certification, NFPA Hot Works Safety Certification, MassSave Approved Heat Pump Contractor, National Grid Heating and Cooling Program Approved Contractor, Viessman Vitosol Vi102 Solar Application & Installation Certification, JLG Aerial Work Platform and Telehandler Trainer Certification and have attended and completed many manufacturer trainings.    

For educational and safety related accomplishments I possess; Rhode Island Professional Teaching Certification, Massachusetts Professional Teaching Certification, DESE Sheltered English Immersion endorsement, OSHA General Industry Trainer and Construction Industry Trainer for 10 and 30 hour courses, HVACR Excellence Certified Subject Matter Educator, and ESCO Institute Testing Proctor.
