The Dental Assisting Program offers students the opportunity to take the Dental Assisting National Board Exam in Infection Control and Radiation Health and Safety.
Students receive intense hands-on training in the dental shop at Diman as well as clinical rotations at local dental offices. Clinical experience can also be obtained through Diman's Cooperative Education Program.

Dental Assisting raises money for charity, challenges others to do the same
Diman's Dental Assisting program recently raised $750 for the SmileTrain initiative, a charity that provides surgery to children in third-world nations that require cleft surgery. The money raised by Diman's students will provide surgery for three children.
We challenge other nationwide dental assisting programs to do the same, or beat us. Good luck!

The generosity of Diman’s Dental Assisting program is well-known, so it should come as no surprise that they started the current school year with two charitable events in the first month. First, students and staff lent a hand in the annual Dentistry from the Heart program in Seekonk, then another group of students and staff participated in the Health First Second Annual 3-mile Walkathon.
