Freshman Volleyball Coach
Holds tryouts for students of a high school to attend and then decides who makes the team. Train the students throughout the preseason process, assigning everyone specific positions and coming up with drills and organized game strategies. Arrives at every game and guides the team. Supervises students during and after practices until they are released to a parent or guardian. Continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field and/or sport preferred.
Requirements: Ability to organize and supervise a sports program; substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport; ability to keep accurate records and create concise reports; previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport preferred. Also:
- Fundamentals of Coaching course if hired as a coach after July 1, 2005 (must be done prior to coaching a 2nd year); NFHS Sport Specific Technical and Tactical Skills course in the sport being coached if hired as a coach after July 1, 2007
- CURRENT Sports First Aid or equivalent American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid course
- CURRENT Concussion Awareness Course certificate
Rate: Annual stipend of $2,036.
Science (Physics) Teacher
Responsibilities include but not limited to: Develop lesson plans and organize class time; maintain student attendance; instruct students; maintain professional competence through professional development opportunities and continuing education.
Requirements: MA Department of Secondary and Elementary Education licensure in Physics (9-14) required. Dual certification in Physics/Chemistry preferred.
Rate of Pay: Relative to experience and in accordance with the Diman Teacher’s Association Academic & Vocational Salary Schedule.
Per Diem LPN Instructors
Schedule: To begin September, 2019
Qualifications: MA in Nursing preferred. BSN, MA RN license and equivalent three years clinical experience in medical-surgical and pediatric settings required.
Rate of Pay: $45.13 per hour
Auto Collision Repair & Refinishing Instructor
Responsibilities include but not limited to: Responsibilities include developing, coordinating, and supervising vocational-technical and related theory experiences for students pursuing a career in Auto Collision Repair & Refinishing.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Massachusetts Department of Secondary and Elementary licensure in Auto Collision Repair & Refinishing (9-14).
Salary: Commensurate with experience, in accordance with DTA collective bargaining agreement.
