    Security Officer – Full-time, School year position 2021-2022 School Year

    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:30am-6:30pm when school is in session. 183 days.

    Requirements: High school diploma required. Previous experience or training in a security related field or any equivalent combination of education and experience that would provide the noted knowledge, skills, and abilities.

    Rate of Pay:  As negotiated per individual employment agreement.

    Full-time (SPED) Paraprofessional 2021-2022 School Year

    Responsibilities:         To provide support for students working in learning environments and overall shop or classroom instructor assistance. 

    Requirements:            Associate’s degree or equivalent. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to problem solve, multi-task, and work independently. Ability to work as a member of a team. Previous experience in subject area preferred.

    Schedule:                    7:30am-2:43pm; school calendar

    Rate:                           Hourly Per Individual Employment Agreement

    Drafting Instructor 2021-2022 School Year

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:  Develop lesson plans and organize class time; maintain student attendance; instruct students; maintain professional competence through professional development opportunities and continuing education.

    Requirements: MA Department of Secondary and Elementary Education licensure in Drafting. 

    Rate of Pay:  Relative to experience and in accordance with the Diman Teacher’s Association Academic & Vocational Salary Schedule.

    HVAC Instructor 2021-2022 School Year               

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:  Develop lesson plans and organize class time; maintain student attendance; instruct students; maintain professional competence through professional development opportunities and continuing education.

    Requirements: MA Department of Secondary and Elementary Education licensure in HVAC&R (9-14).

    Rate of Pay:  Relative to experience and in accordance with the Diman Teacher’s Association Academic & Vocational Salary Schedule.

    Medical Assisting Instructor 2021-2022 School Year

    Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, instruct, and evaluate educational programs in the field of Medical Assisting.

    Qualifications: Associates and minimum of four years professional experience required. Candidates must possess, or have the credentials and willingness to pursue, Massachusetts Vocational Technical Teacher Licensure in Medical Assisting (9-12).

    Salary: Commensurate with experience, in accordance with DTA collective bargaining agreement.

    Programming and Web Development Instructor (3) 2021-2022 School Year

    Responsibilities: Responsibilities include developing, coordinating, and supervising vocational-technical and related theory experiences for students pursuing a career in Programming and Web Development.

    Requirements:

    (1)     A Programming and Web Development Preliminary or Profession Vocational Teaching License.

    - or -

    (2)     Applicant meets minimum eligibility requirements for above licensure: an Associate’s Degree or higher degree related to programming and/or web development. Four years of recent (within the last seven years), full-time employment experience directly related to computer programming and web development. A bachelor’s degree may substitute for one of four years of required employment experience, provided that the degree includes subject matter related to one or more strands of the Vocational Technical Education Framework in programming and web development, and/or in education. A master’s degree may substitute for one of the four years of required employment experience, provided that the degree includes subject matter related to one or more of the strands of the Vocational Technical Education Framework in programming and web development, and/or in education.

    Salary: In accordance with the Diman Teacher’s Association collective bargaining agreement. An opening exists for the above-captioned positions.

    Health and Wellness Assistant Remainder of  2020-2021 School Year

    Schedule:                                7:30am-2:30pm                                                                                

    Pay Rate:                                $165.00 a day                        

    Minimum Qualifications:        Experience with general medical office duties, Medical Assisting Certification     preferred, Pediatric experience preferred.               

     

    Director of Finance and Operations 2021-2022 School Year

    Schedule:                   Full-time, 12 months, Individual Employment Agreement

    Description:               Planning, developing and coordinating fiscal, business, and operating services required to provide school personnel with facilities, materials, and other resources needed to support vocational instruction of students.

    Salary Range:            $115,000-$125,000

    Min Qualifications:   Must have, at minimum, a Master’s Degree and a minimum of six years “hands on” experience in Business Management related to duties OR  Certified School Business Manager; MCPPO Certified; Business Manager required

     

    Substitute Teachers

    • $100 per day
