• NON-UNION EMPLOYEE CONTRACTS

    Ten (10) Month Individual Employment Contracts

    Unless otherwise amended by vote of the District School Committee, the following will be the personnel policies of ten (1 0) month individual contract employees of the District:

    • One Hundred Eighty-three (183) day work
    • Eight (8) hour Additional half hour for lunch (unpaid). Said allocation of hours (i.e. 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.), to be determined by the Superintendent.
    • Vacation:
      • Three (3) weeks' vacation to be taken during December, February and April breaks
    • Longevity - $150.00 for each year beginning in year ten (10)
    • Degree Stipends:
      • Bachelor’s - $1,000
      • Master's - $3,926

    Note: In order to qualify for degree stipends, the attainment must exceed the degree requirement of the job description of said degree.

    Jury Duty, Funeral Leave, Personal Leave, Military Leave, Paternity Leave, Life Insurance, Health and Dental Insurance, Sick Leave, Emergency Leave, Retirement Benefits (and any and all benefits not listed herein) shall be consistent with the terms and conditions of the Diman Teachers’ Association (DTA) collective bargaining agreement.

    Twelve (12) Month Individual Employment Contracts

    Unless otherwise amended by vote of the District School Committee, the following will be the personnel policies of twelve (12) month individual contract employees of the District.

    • Two Hundred Twenty-two (222) day work year;
    • Eight (8) hour Additional half hour for lunch (unpaid). Said allocation of hours (i.e. 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.), to be determined by the Superintendent.
    • Vacation:
      • Year 1 – two (2) weeks
      • Years 2 & 3 – four (4) weeks
      • After 3 Years – five (5) Weeks
    • Longevity - $150 for each year beginning in year ten (10)
    • Degree Stipends:
      • Bachelor's - $ 1,000
      • Master's - $3,926

    Note: It is anticipated that this policy will apply to paraprofessional and security personnel contracts.

    Due to the particular circumstances of the following positions, they will be addressed on a case-by-case basis with recommendations being made by the Superintendent to the School District Committee relative to compensation and any and all compensatory benefits.

    • Parent liaison, Team Chair, Evening School Director, Evening School Bookkeeper, and Athletic
