Zachary Souza* has been named Outstanding Vocational Student for the Electronics program. A graduate of Matthew J. Kuss Middle School, Zachary is the son of Garrett and Nicole Souza and resides in Fall River.

Zachary has achieved high honors throughout his education at Diman, his 3.9 GPA has earned him the #3 rank in the class of 2016, and he has won biology and math academic awards during his freshman and sophomore years.

His academic prowess has translated to shop as well, as he has dominated at SkillsUSA by earning a district gold and state bronze as a sophomore; a district silver, state gold, and national bronze last year; as well as district gold this year. Zachary’s uses his skills in the outside world through his Cooperative Education Program position at BTech Acoustics in Fall River, where he works as an electronics technician.

Next year, Zachary will represent Diman at Bridgewater State University, where he will major in Criminal Justice.
