RESIGNATION/RETIREMENT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT-DIRECTOR

1. The Superintendent-Director is required to give notice as stated in the contract should he/she decide to resign his/her position.
2. In the event the position becomes vacant, the regional school system may appoint an interim Superintendent-Director who shall exercise all duties and responsibilities as defined by state law and the Superintendent-Director’s contract until the appointment of a new Superintendent-Director.
3. In order to insure a satisfactory transition, the Superintendent-Director will give notice to the regional school system in accordance with the contract.
