The Diman School of Practical Nursing has named Heather Medeiros of Fall River as their Outstanding Vocational Student. The wife of Alex Medeiros, Heather has two daughters – Savannah and Alexis, and is a 1998 graduate of Diman’s Health Careers program.

Heather has earned SkillsUSA district gold and silver medals in each of the last two years competing in the Health Knowledge Bowl. She will be moving onto the national competition in Louisville, KY in June.

Heather intends to continue her education at Bristol Community College, where she plans to earn an associates degree as a Registered Nurse, hoping to gain employment in a long-term care facility.
