Jonathon Ferreira

Jonathon Ferreira* is the Outstanding Vocational Student for the Machine Tool Technology program. The son of Swansea’s Robert and Christine Ferreira, Jonathan is a graduate of Holy Trinity School in Fall River.
Jonathon played varsity football sophomore, junior, and senior year, ran winter track the last two years, and competed in spring track this year. He is currently ranked #5 in his graduating class with a 3.96 GPA, and earned two Gene Haas Foundation scholarships.
His prodigious machining skills were on display at SkillsUSA when he won a silver medal at nationals in 2013 and a gold medal at nationals in 2014 for CNC Milling. He also won gold medals at Diman’s Trade Fair his freshman and sophomore years.
Jonathon is employed through our Cooperative Education Program at Tegra Medical and will pursue a bachelors degree in Computer Science at UMass Dartmouth.
