After Diman, I graduated from SMU (now UMASS/Dartmouth) with a BA Degree. I had the opportunity to compete in Cross- Country and Track while in college.

Over the years I have stayed connected to Diman through a variety of volunteer activities: coaching, shop advisory board, Parent Advisory Council, Alumni Association, Perkins Grant Committee and started the Swansea Friends of Diman. In addition, I was elected in 1999 (one-year term) and 2000 (three-year term) to represent the Town of Swansea on the Diman School Committee.

In 1999 I was inducted into the Diman Hall of Fame as the assistant coach of the undefeated 1976 Cross-Country Team. This year (2001) I was extremely fortunate to be selected for induction into the school's Hall of Fame under the Alumni category.

Since 1979 I have worked in the field of workforce development. This career has required grant writing, program management, career advisement and job development activities for the benefit of disadvantaged adults and youth. My 1999 summer youth program received the US Dept. of Labor's Promising Practice Award for Region I.

I live in Swansea with my best friend (my wife Jeanne) who works in the Pupil Services Office at Diman. Together we have 5 daughters (two attending Diman) and one son.

After graduation I moved to Central Florida to open a new Holiday Inn. I am currently employed , for the past 18 years, by Rosen Hotels and Resorts as the Chief Financial Officer. We are the largest private owner of Hotels and Resorts in Florida. I am a Past President of the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) and in 2000 received their Paragon award. I currently serve as the Treasurer for the American Cancer Society, Canine Companions for Independence and the Orlando Repertory Theatre. I have very fond memories of Diman and my four years in Food Trades and the Tea Room. My education at Diman has led to a successful and full career in the Hospitality industry. I live Windermere, Florida, with my partner and five Bearded Collies.
