Upon graduation in 85 I worked at Modern Printing then decided I wanted to get involved in the community. I went to BCC received an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and worked for the New Bedford Police Department in the Domestic Violence Divission. While there I recognized that if I became a nurse I could better serve the community knowing how to triage victim calls etc. I attended Diman's LPN program in 1994 and graduated as an LPN in 1995. I left the police department and began working as a charge nurse in local facilities. I met my husband and moved to Boston shortly after. I work at the Brigham and Womens Hospital as a surgical nurse for the department of Dermatology where we help patients diagnosed with melanoma etc. It would be nice to hear from other classmates.

Since graduating Diman I went on the receive my Associate’s Degree in Medical Technology from Bristol Community College, an Associates of Nursing from Cape Cod Community College, and am currently finishing my Bachelorette of Science in Nursing at UMass Boston, where I will continue to a Masters in Nursing and Adult Nurse Practitioner. I work for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse.

Will be working at my original CO-OP place of employment for 25 yrs as of May 2010.  I Started as a machinist working and maintaining press tooling , building and repairing perforating equipment and presses. Was able to work thru the ranks of the company up to and including supervisor/manager of a state of the art tooling / CNC dept.  I am currently working  within the company as a Manufacturing Engineer for Ferguson Perforating and Wire Company in RI, responsible for the design, building and implementation of new perforating and secondary operation equipment, as well as new business development and R&D and process development as required with the end user.
