Welcome to the National Honor Society home page! The NHS is made up of juniors and seniors who have a G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher and are dedicated to serving their community and school. Some of the projects we complete each year are a Clothe-a-Child event through the Salvation Army in December and the Walk for Hunger school-wide event beginning in January through April. Students also volunteer at school with Admissions Night, Parent/Teacher conferences, and Open House.
Since many seniors are on Co-Op, meetings for A week and B week are held separately, usually on the second Monday of their academic cycle, from 7:15 - 7:40 a.m.. It is very important that every member make a concerted effort to attend their cycle's meeting, so please plan accordingly with work and other commitments. Members are required to attend all meetings as well as any special meetings and rehearsals prior to the May Induction Ceremony. Failure to do so may be grounds for dismissal (old members) or non-induction (new members). Please check the NHS calendar below for meetings and other upcoming events.
