English Language Arts Department Head

I have been an English Language Arts teacher here at Diman for 19 years now and have taught all grade levels, including enrichment, college-prep, honors, and pre-AP. I have also taught an art/literature fusion course and am the co-advisor for the National Honor Society and advisor for the Art Club.I believe that all children can learn given the right environment, and I strive to instill a sense of camaraderie, trust, and enthusiasm among my students. My goal is to foster critical reading, writing, and thinking skills so that all students, regardless of what path they choose to follow after high school, will be able to succeed in today's ever-changing society.
