  • Math Team competes at WPI

    The Diman Math Team was invited to Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s 32nd Annual Math Meet on Tuesday, October 15th. WPI limited the event to only four students per team, and Adam Bouchard, Makayla Cabeceiras, William Girard, and Owen Morris represented Diman well. (11/04/19)

  • Diman Voc-Tech boosts attendance, makes academic progress

    Diman Regional Vocational-Technical High School saw gains in student attendance and made moderate progress toward state-set targets, according to an accountability report released late last month with exam results for the 2019 Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System. (10/2/19)

  • Diman culinary students learn to create a more inclusive dining experience

    Dining out is so much more than a meal. It’s all about the experience. Some chefs in training at Diman Regional Vocational-Technical High School are learning early on to cater to their customers’ needs, including those with dementia, autism, hearing loss, vision loss and post-traumatic stress disorder.   • Delegation from Azores visits Diman

    UMass Dartmouth, along with a contingency from Sao Miguel, Azores, visited Diman on 9/19. The Azorean group represented a company called Nanogon, a non-profit association resulting from the collaboration between the Regional Government of the Azores and the municipality of Lagoa. (9/20/19)

  • Award-winning author to visit Diman

    On Friday, September 20th, 2019, award-winning author Padma Venkatraman will be speaking with our freshmen students about her 2010 novel, Climbing the Stairs. The story, set during World War II and British-occupied India, follows Vidya, a fifteen-year-old girl from India who dreams of attending college during a time where her culture frowns upon this behavior from young women. Political events unfolding in her country also lead to a deep internal struggle as she wrestles with who she is and what defines her. (9/11/19)
