    The Staircase Galleries at Government Center in Fall River is hosting an event Thursday for the “Fall River Portraits: Making Things and Nature in the City” exhibit. The public is invited to the opening, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the center lobby with refreshments served. (11/15/17)

  • Boys' soccer advances to State Voke final

    Burned for a quick goal, Diman Regional’s defense played serious shutdown soccer thereafter. The Bengals (12-3-4) dug out of their modest early hole and, with three breakaway goals, defeated Northeast Metro Voc-Tech 3-1 in the State Vocational Boys’ Soccer Tournament semifinals on Wednesday night at Britland Park.   • Math team earns invite to WPI

    The Diman Math Team was invited to Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s 30th Annual Math Meet on Tuesday, October 17th. This was the first invitation ever extended to Diman Regional for this prestigious competition.

  • Diman gets $500,000 to support emerging technologies

    he world of work is getting smaller, much smaller, Thomas Aubin said. Workers in 10 or 15 years will have to be adept at the needs of nanotechnology, making the machines and tools to operate robots that will require a microscope to see. They will have to make objects with such precision that one ten thousands of an inch is sloppy. (10/18/17)

  • Diman Foundation and Diman partner to fund sports field improvement

    At a brief ceremony on Diman’s football/soccer field, Diman Bengal Education Foundation officials presented a $12,000 check to assist with renovation of Diman’s main sports field. The field is expected to be ready for use before the end of the football season, according to the company that is doing the work: Sports Turf Specialties. (8/31/17)

  • Diman Hall of Fame to add seven new members in 2017

    On Oct. 8th at the Venus de Milo restaurant, seven new members will join the Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School Hall of Fame. This unique non-sports recognition was established in 1998 to honor Diman graduates, retired staff and community supporters of the school. (7/26/17)

  • RIGHT ON TARGET: Kyra Smith, Diman junior, off to sizzling start at national bowling championship

    Kyra Smith of Fall River is bashing the pins at a major youth bowling tournament this weekend in Cleveland. A junior at Diman Regional High School, Smith ranked third out of 327 competitors in Girls U15 after the second of four qualifying rounds at the USBC Junior Gold Championships. (7/19/17)
