  • Girls track results

    Diman girls had great performances against tough opponents, BP and Southeastern.
     
    Diman defeated Bristol Plymouth 105-35.

    The meet against Southeastern came down to the last event of the day. Unfortunately, Diman faced their first dual meet loss in over 2 seasons with a score of 71-65.
    • Grace Flattery set 2 school records, winning the 400m Hurdles (1:11.3) and the Triple Jump (34' 5")
    • Emma Foley extended her school record in the 100m Hurdles to (16.5) and won the Long Jump (16'2)

  • Baseball wins

    On Tuesday, Diman beat Southeastern Regional by the score of 4-0. Read the Herald News reporting here.

    • Sam Perry pitched a complete game NO HITTER. He allowed 4 walks and struckout 14 batters.
    • Collecting hits for Diman were Kole Andrade 2 hits, Perry, Charlie Vernon and Levi Russell.
    Diman improved to 5-0 on the season. Great team win for the Diman Bengals Baseball.
     
    Junior Varsity also beat Southeastern by the score of 14-5.

  • Girls tennis wins

    The girls tennis team emerged victorious with a 3-2 win over the New Bedford Whalers.

    • Gloria Moniz and Liz Kinnane both triumphed in their singles matches, winning in straight sets, contributing crucial points to the Bengals' success.
    • Despite a valiant effort, Lindsey Moniz faced a formidable opponent and lost at first singles.
    • Similarly, the first doubles team of Kiara Almeida and Savannah Barcellos lost in straight sets against a tough doubles pair.
    • However, the second doubles team of Chloe Baker and Abigail Barroso clinched a decisive win in straight sets, securing the overall victory for Diman.

    The Bengals now have a perfect record with two wins and no losses this season.

  • Boys tennis victory

    The boys tennis team stood on business in their second match of the year, defeating New Bedford High School 3-2.

    Here are the winners from the match:
    • Second singles Rafael Infante 6-2, 6-1
    • First doubles Christian rodrigues and Kaidyn Fournier 6-1, 6-1
    • And in his singles debut, at third singles, Andrew Librera 6-0, 6-0
    The Bengals' next match is Wednesday at Westport High.

  • Diman students grant girl’s wish by building beauty salon playhouse

    On Friday, Diman students made a little girl’s wish a reality at the Rhode Island Home Show at the Rhode Island Convention Center. According to the school, it took more than 6 months and hundreds of Diman students from multiple Diman shops to develop a playhouse for Lanasia and to grant her wish. (4/8/24)

  • Diman students carrying a board

    Diman students, hiking group connect to improve Fall River's Bioreserve

    On Blossom Road, in a 19th-century timber-frame wagon shed, a half-dozen kids from Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School were busy building bridges connecting Fall River’s past to its future.  The carpentry students under instructor Jeff Cabral were building the frames for bog bridges — lengths of pressure-treated lumber that will be topped with planks and installed in the Southeastern Massachusetts Bioreserve to help hikers cross muddy trails.  (4/2/24)

    Principal Andrew Rebello Named Massachusetts Principal of the Year

    Diman Principal Andrew Rebello has been awarded the Massachusetts School Administrators’ Association High School Principal of the Year. Rebello is an award-winning and nationally recognized educational leader, serving in his fourth year as the Assistant Superintendent-Principal at Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School.   • Enjoying the food

    Molecular Gastronomy Cook-off

    In mid-March, 2024, Diman's Molecular Gastronomy students competed in their final project: an epic cook off! The 15-week Food Science final project showcased culinary prowess and scientific innovation. Students crafted their own menu projects, integrating 3-4 food science techniques they had meticulously honed throughout the class. (3/21/24)

    Congratulations to our team of 36 students that competed at the Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference on March 4, 2024 in Norwood, 27 of whom earned invitations to the National Leadership Conference in Chicago in May. (3/15/24)

    Diman gets grant to buy 10 new heat pumps: How HVAC students are training for the future.

    A dozen students were busily bending copper tubing, working together as they measured and mounted it to a wall, each one contributing in their own small way to a cleaner climate.  (3/7/24)
