Searching for SADD Teacher

By: Kaitlin Cahill

This year at Diman I would like to start a SADD chapter. A few years ago we had one and I would like to bring it back. The philosophy of SADD is that young people empowered to help each other are the most effective force in prevention. SADD, formerly known as Students Against Drunk Driving, changed its name in 1997 to Students Against Destructive Decisions, expanding its mission to include drug use, abuse, STD's and AIDS, teenage pregnancy, and suicide, as well as underage drinking and drunk driving.

I am seeking a teacher who would like to be an advisor of this chapter. This chapter hopes to collaborate with Bishop Connolly High School's new chapter. If you are interested in helping me, please contact me Kaitlin Cahill, 10th grade Health Careers B weeks at DimanSADD@hotmail.com. Thank you.
