Ultraviolet
Chris Gendreau's Movie Review
2.5 out of 4 Stars
In this action packed movie, Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil & The Fifth Element) plays Violet, a vampire in the future who is caught in the middle of a war between her own kind and the humans who are trying to destroy them. Unlike Underword, and other vampire movies, in this movie, vampires exist because of a virus that was manipulated by scientists and used to create super soldiers. This movie changes gear halfway through and all of a sudden everything changes so the story is a little hard to understand. Also the special effects look like they are from a video game, which takes away from the realism of the movie. The movie is, however, full of action and has only one scene in which there isn't a fight. I'd recommend Ultraviolet because I liked it but it isn't the best action movie that I've ever seen.
