Dress Shopping
By Stephanie Pavao

I took some time to do what I do best and that is shopping! And may you ask what I went shopping for? I went shopping for a prom dress. My first stop was "Debs". This store is less expensive than going to a boutique that specializes in dresses for special occasions.
An average dress there is half the price of a dress at a boutique. When I was at Debs there were a few dresses that I had my eye on. Light colors are in! The dresses that caught my eye were yellow and off-white. Many dresses, I thought, would look better in different colors than I saw them in. Plain and simple is better than a dress that is too flashy.
Showing up to prom in elegancy is what you're trying to shoot for. When guys think of prom, they think tuxedo! But if they don't feel comfortable in a tuxedo, they can always just wear a suit blazer with matching pants and a colorful shirt. The moral behind all this is, wear what you like but try to save money while you're at it.
