Diman Honors Contributors

Superintendent-Director Mr. Ramos and the Diman School Committee honored Joseph Martins and Carl Sawejko at the National Carrer and Technical Education Week Feb. 12-18.

Martins received the 2005 Distinguished Graduate Award while Sawejko was offered an honorary diploma.

Martins is a 1960 Diman graduate who returend to the school after college as an electronics teacher. He served as department head, evening school director, union president and principal.

Sawejko, who owns and oeprates Sawejko Communications of Fall River, has been a volunteer at the school for man years. He has ben active with the Electronics Advisory Group Improvement Council, Technoly Five-year Plan Committee, Vocational Funding Grant Board and several subcommittees.
