Diman Sophomore Honored

Zachary Sinkevich received the 1st place award in the Dr Martin Luther King Jr. essay contest in an event sponsored by Bristol Community College. Zach continues a "tradition" that his brother won last year and has been won by Diman students in 3 of the last four years. Mr Ramos and Mr. Bentley along with Zach's family were present for the breakfast and award presentation. Zachary wrote an essay as part of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Contest. His essay had to place either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in this contest pitting Diman students against Durfee, Connolly, Case, Dighton-Rehoboth and Westport Zach continues a tradition of Diman students placing well in this contest. Zach's brother, Alex, came in first place last year. Zach's ELA teacher is Mrs. Polak.
