Astronomy Class Visits Local Planetarium

On Friday, November 30th, Mr. Murphy's Astronomy classes attended a field trip to the Somerset High School Planetarium. They viewed presentations on the possible origins and terminations of our universe as well as the constellations of the northern and southern winter sky. The planetarium director, Mr. Schofield, was very informative. He gave students many helpful hints in how to find constellations in the sky and told students the mythical stories about the various constellations. Mr. Murphy's B-cycle Astronomy class will visit the Planetarium on December 14th.
