We need to continue instruction on how to handle hazardous materials with our students.

All Shop Related instructors are to incorporate a unit of instruction on Handling Hazardous Materials is their respective trade for each class/grade. This is a requirement under the Chapter 74 regulations.

Shop and Science instructors should include instruction on handling Hazardous Materials as a part of their safety instruction. A complete instructors guide on Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste handling is available in every department.

Diman has completed a Workplace Hazard Assessment in compliance with OSHA's regulation of 29 CFR 1910, Subpart I for each vocational program and is in compliance with all recommended Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
