Diman Regional School of Practical Nursing Policy of Transfer of Credit
A student may seek transfer of credit from another institution provided that a grade of C (75) or better has been earned in the course the student is seeking credit for. The course work or clock hours from a practical nurse program must be comparable to the course offered at Diman Regional School of Practical Nursing.
Each applicant must present the following to the Director, Diman Regional School of Practical Nursing:
- Successful completion of a faculty administered comprehensive examination in the area for which credit is being requested. The passing grade for the examination is a 75% or better.
- An official transcript of any and all previous college records and courses.
- A catalog description of the course taken for which credit is requested.
- Additional material as required by the Director, Diman Regional School of Practical Nursing.
Credits must have been completed within the last five years. This will be an Admission Committee decision. Transfer credits only are recorded on the transcript. A grade will be recorded for all courses successfully completed at Diman Regional School of Practical Nursing by the Admission Committee.
Students granted a reduced course load will be required to pay full tuition and will have the option to monitor classes.
