Diman International Club
The International Club was founded in November of 2006 by Diman's teacher Liz Jonsson. Mrs. Jonsson was concerned that students become involved on a more global level and what better way than to see the world. Seeing all the history and ambiance of a foreign country is unforgettable. Having a sense of history helps students to conceptualize the past and make connections to the present and understand the complexity of our future. Learning how the wealthy Romans lived 2,000 years ago, seeing where Oedipus spent his childhood in Corinth on the way to Athens or shopping in Piccadilly Square in London, whatever it may be, it lends to the education of our students and the broadening of their young minds. It is open to students in their junior and senior years and the trips are scheduled for April vacations.
If you're interested in joining the International, contact Mrs. Jonsson via email or in room B233.
