Work Experience Opportunities for Youth - Summer of 2009

The Bristol Workforce Investment Board

The Bristol Workforce Investment Board and the Career Centers of Bristol County are pleased to announce the availability of summer work experience opportunities for youth funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and the Workforce Investment Act (WIA).

During the summer of 2009, a number of employment opportunities will be available to youth, ages 14 up to 24, who meet WIA and ARRA eligibility requirements. If you are interested in summer work experience opportunities and would like the Career Centers to determine if you are eligible for services, please download the "Summer Application" (available below in either Word or PDF format). Instructions for completing the application are included on the first page. Once you have completed the application, please bring it to one of the locations below.
