Restaurant Review - Terra Nostra Serves up Exquisite Portuguese Food

Hi my name is Nick Franco. I'm a junior in B weeks in the Drafting Shop. I am a first time writer for The Tradesman, who was assigned to critique local restaurants and then write about it in the newspaper.

For my first assignment I went to a very nice Portuguese restaurant called Terra Nostra. It is located on Rodman St. in the north end of Fall River. The outside of the building is like any ordinary restaurant, but the inside is very fancy. The building runs the whole length of the block, so even on a busy night you should be able to get a seat. The décor is of an authentic Portuguese house and was very clean. They have wine racks lining the walls and paintings of various scenes of nature.

The waitress was prompt and polite when seating us. We got a seat near the bar so we could watch the news while we waited. We ordered our drinks and in about a minute she came back with the drinks and a basket of soft Portuguese rolls. We then ordered our food. We all got the pork and little necks. It took about 15 minutes for the food to get served to us, but the wait was well worth it. The plate was a huge helping of pork, red peppers, potatoes, garlic, assorted spices, and topped with a thick red sauce. The plate cost a total of $10.30. All in all I would give the service and environment 9 out of 10 and the food a 10 out of 10.
