By: Jake Gibb
Special to the Tradesman

Last year's Co-Captain of the Boys' Basketball team, Jake Gibb, had an opportunity to recover from a solid, first-year football year to talk with his coach, Mr. Blanchette, about the upcoming year.

Q. How many students will be on the varsity team?

A. About 15 students

Q. What are your expectations for this season?

A. My expectations are easy - that when Basketball is done, the young men that participated can function in society better.

Q. Who is Diman's biggest competition?

A. Everyone that steps on the court against us for the 32 minutes.

Q. Who will be your leader this year?

A. My seniors are the leaders and the role models for my team. I can only say so much. My seniors will show the underclassmen how it should be done and they will learn more from them.

Q. Do you think Diman's team has a good chance to make the post-season?

A. The post-season is very possible as long as we play together and as long as we have team work. We will be alright.
