I don't know about you, but I enjoy eating. When you go to a restaurant and the service is phenomenal and the food is delicious and plentiful, you have to tell someone. Texas Roadhouse was so good that I feel that I have to tell everyone within a 50 mile radius.

I went on a Friday night for my friends birthday. For most restaurants, Friday nights are one of the primary business nights, and this restaurant was no different from the rest. The party I arrived with was about 20 people, so we had to wait. The wait was about forty-five minutes, but completely worth it. We had an entire corner area for our group.

The atmosphere was definitely good. I didn't feel like I was in Texas, but I also didn't feel like I was in a run-of-the-mill restaurant. There were barrels full of peanuts, wooden bench seats, and a random saddle that we would soon find out what was it used for. The roadhouse was decently sized and was not dirty, excluding the floor that was covered in peanut shells (Diman students did not contribute to the mess in any way, and any angry waitress that tells you differently is mistaken).

As soon as we were seated, their staff made sure everything was perfect and everyone was happy. Even though we had about twenty people, the food came out fast. I ordered an appetizer of cheese fries, and my main entree was sirloin steak, mashed potatoes, and more cheese fries. The appetizers were on the table about five minutes after the drinks.

There were about four appetizers at the table I was sitting at, and I sampled all for the benefit of hungry Diman students who read the Tradesman. If you order something with hot sauce, also order a few cokes. The cheese fries I ordered were sprinkled with bits of bacon. They were so good that I had to order more to go with my meal.

The meals took about another ten minutes to start coming out. The only thing that did not please me is that the waiter took out each meal as it was ready. When you are at Texas Roadhouse waiting for food, the last thing you want to do is watch your neighbor start to eat and talk about how good their food is.

My sirloin was cooked perfectly and the sides were to my satisfaction. The people around me said that the Caesar salad, ribs, and bacon cheddar burger were extremely scrumptious.

As I mentioned earlier, we went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse for my friend's birthday, and someone told that to a waitress. During dinner, a few happy waiters and waitresses came out singing with cake and the saddle. The birthday boy sat on the saddle where he could plainly see all of his friends pointing, laughing, and clapping.

0nly one of the twenty people in my party was disappointed with the dining experience, so you have about a 95 percent chance of being happy. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone that enjoys good tasting appetizers, food, and drinks at a reasonable cost of about twenty five dollars a person.
