Restaurant Review: Opus

by Savannah Pacheco '09

Everyone should experience dining at Opus Restaurant. This restaurant is a marvelous place to enjoy fabulous food. Opus isn't your average restaurant, where you can just go after work and get a burger or a hot dog. It's much more than that! The meals are delicious, and are meals that you don't usually see on a Pub 99 or Texas Road House menu. The Opus menu includes gourmet cheese, cured meats, unique dips, creative salads, and made-to-order fish, pastas, and market cut meats. Although the prices aren't the cheapest around, from what people who have eaten there say, they don't regret spending the extra money. If you do decide to dine at Opus you might want to dress a little bit more than casual. On the other hand, if you don't want to have dinner you can always just have a drink in the lounge with a couple of your friends. The lounge is a beautiful and relaxing area where you can sit down on the couches next to the fireplace. The menu is found on Opus' webpage, www.restaurantopus.com. One last thing: If you are planning to dine at Opus, reservations are recommended.
