No Student Left Behind: EXTENDS Program Offers Homework Help

Mr. Matos' assists a student in math at EXTENDS in the library

Do you need help completing class and homework assignments? Do you need a structured place to do homework? Then consider EXTENDS. Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School's EXTENDS (EXtra Time Educating & Nurturing Diman Students) Program is in its second year. In an effort to improve student performance and MCAS test results, the school has established an after school homework support program open to all students. Teachers will be available for guided support in all content areas. Students may attend for extra help or for a controlled environment in which to complete their homework independently.

Bus transportation is available for students utilizing the homework support program. Any students can attend the EXTENDS sessions, but students are required to sign up by lunch time of the day they want to attend. Sign-up sheets are located in the Administration Office as well as outside Mrs. DeJesus' classroom, B110. Please be aware that all attending students must stay the entire hour. This program does NOT replace teacher help days posted in all classrooms. It is an additional opportunity for help or support. Don't get left behind ... join us in the library.

EXTENDS HOURS:
Tuesdays 2:45– 3:45 p.m.
Thursdays 2:45– 3:45 p.m.
