If I see you, I'll put on my fake smile.
I'll tell you how happy I've been,
we'll laugh and walk away.

When we walk away, we will both hope that the other didn't see the tears starting.
We will walk away, shedding our last tears.

I'll whisper to myself ,"I'll love you for ever and ever."
...and your response will be "that's a promise."
