Auric Chronicles:
The Division of the Sacred Auric Stones

Christopher Newell

It all began during the invasion of the Queen Asylia's kingdom: in Temporia. Three valiant warriors of the highest rank, meaning that they became strategic enough to become high rank, scattered the royal family's precious Auric-stones to prevent complete and utter destruction of the village's history. These brave beings happen to be none other than Cassamira Scipio, General Adin and General Cain. I try to keep secret life as Cassamira Scipio quiet to prevent enemies from reading my mind and finding the Auric-stones before I can. The neighboring kingdom of the Astorians and their battle forces have begun their second wave of attempted destruction on our temporary base. Cain, Adin and I continue protecting Queen Asylia Ventress and her daughter Sarah Ventress.

"The second wave of the Astorians has started to close in on us, your highness," said Cain, as he and Adin began to blast sonic waves out of their royal sabres. My job has always been to fight for the queen also; but my name you ask? Scipio, the Most Agile, stealthy cassamira general left, as my badges can vouch for that. Adin and Cain also fight for Queen Asylia, both top rank generals. I released my enormous dagger from its sheath and commenced the attack against the seemingly incessant onslaught of the enemy.

"SCIPIO, GET OUT OF THE WAY!" General Adin screamed, oblivious to the backfired sonic wave heading his way. I then shot a Cassamiran lightning bolt at the wave, destroying that and the villainous warriors in the nearest vicinity of the blast radius. I then seized the handle of my homemade scimitar and released it from its dragon-hide sheath. I watched the severely light metallic armor collapse to the ground, surprised by the fact that the Astorian forces had begun using auric warriors instead of the regular beings.

I then once again began to swing my scintillating blade and hit three zords, completely decimating their armor. When their auras touched mine, it sent shivers up my spine; but I shook it off, as to keep myself concentrated.

In the days before the invasion, things had been- KRRAHH!! An immense sonic boom echoed through the crisp night air. Finally, I told myself, a challenge worth my time. General Cain and General Adin, were told that I would take care of the upcoming isolo-extra and agreed to hold off the army as I fought it. They gave me a sign of affirmation by nodding their heads. They could not refuse my orders because I have more emblems, or badges than they do.

Then, Cain and Adin at once began to dispatch the nearest adversaries. Soon after that, I heard the pulsation of the flying monster's beating wings, as it landed directly in front of me. The body of the Isolo fiend seemed slender enough for me to hear the beating of its heart. Feeling the strength of this creature by reading its aura, I knew that this Isolo will be like all the others I defeated. Steadily arming myself with the scimitar that had been encompassed in my aura, which makes it easier to maneuver in the battlefield; I waited for a sign to start the torrential attack on the bird. As soon as it screeched, I flitted in the direction of the gargantuan avian. Dodging the quills shot in my direction, I sped off to the right side of the bird and revolved the scimitar with both hands and hit the slender armor of the enormous fiend..

May the aura be with me, I whispered to myself after a long yet victorious battle with the fiend.

RAGING TORMENT! I revolved, feeling the rage and fury seep out of my very soul into the aura blanketed weapon. My own body felt like it had been part of the sword itself as I struck the colossal beast's armor. The scimitar's brilliant glow faded after I finished the enemy. I entered the safe haven to discuss where to find and locate the next Auric-stones. The first one we might find can be found in the Dark Forest. It will definitely be the "Dragonic Rune." Adin asked sarcastically how we would know which one it will?

I then responded by telling him that "my aura allows me to locate the seven stones, due to the fact that my family descended from the Auric Elders; those beings created the stones to save the Queen's kingdom in our time of dire need." Tomorrow we will begin our quest," commanded the Queen. "Ready all your supplies because we leave at dawn," said Cain.

As everyone fell asleep, I pondered how I would go along with their plan. My vampiric body could only stand the UV rays for so long. Dividing the Auric-stones may have helped us prevent the conquest of our kingdom from happening faster, but they will keep trying, no matter how long it will take.

The Auric Elders created the seven sacred stones to complete the prophecy that would one day be fulfilled by the one described in the foreshadowing of dark events that would follow the invasion of the kingdom. Over time, the reason why the stones had been made changed from "completing the prophecy", to protecting the auras of the royals and their offspring.

THE PROPHECY OF THE ANCIENTS

The Auric-stones must be separated in the time of need. A savior of ancient descent will come to help the monarchy reclaim the kingdom as their own. Aura pure must fuse with auras powerful to save the world and the ancient races that will be targeted by the invaders. Newfound strength will further be tested by the Gods of the Overworld, the Underworld, and the Netherworld.

How did Scipio become so powerful? Where did everyone else from the kingdom go?
