Amanda

Her name may be common but her personality is not,
Amanda, my partner in crime.

One day that not so common name will be known,
as she's not your ordinary girl.
Amanda is a purple dot in an orange crowd.

She picks me up when I'm down.
She knows how I think.
She respects me for who I am,
always being there for me.
She, as simple as it sounds, completes me.

In a few years or so,
when you look up on the big screen,
and see that name shinning brightly,
don't be shocked, don't have your mouth do an O shape.
because it is going to happen,
I promise you.

One day her dream will come true.
One day she will be famous,
and well known around the world.
Amanda is one of those girls
who has self respect.
She's not willing to compromise who she is,
to get somewhere.

I hope that we never grow apart,
I hope our life's dreams don't point us in different directions,
One day I will be writing Hollywood movies;
and she will be the star!
No matter how old we get, or where we go in life,
