Lying here with my heart in my hand,
I keep to myself because no one understands.

Can't explain this bad luck.
Could I have brought it upon myself?

Don't try to get around me, because you'll never see.
I put in a whole lot of faith in whom I thought I could trust,
and never thought it would be a crime I'd have to bust.

I never realized love could come out of lust.

Only time will tell If I will be okay,
but right now, it isn't safe to say.

What goes around comes around and so be it,
I'll stand my ground,not changing from day to day.
